Testing, testing..

Hi everyone, When I first set up the blog, I customized an address for our blog. I also just edited the settings to show our names when we post now :)

Link List

Hi everyone, my name is Jennifer. I added a link list to our blog, it is in the sidebar at the bottom. I just added a link to a website that offers information about assistive technology; I thought it could be useful in case we use any websites in our blog that our viewers may be interested in. It is a fast and easy way to get to websites that may be helpful to our viewers.  Other links can be added, so if you know of any websites or sources that are insightful, feel free to put a link.

Title Header and Description Added!

Hey there everyone! My name is Justin. I've added a header and a brief little description to our blog! I wanted to make the description easy to read at a quick glance, but give details about who we are and what we're doing here. We will be posting about the things we are learning as well as information about different Assistive Technology Devices and Programs. Hopefully this blog can be helpful and informative to all our readers! Thanks for reading!

Change in Theme and Background Image Added

Hey there everyone! For my changes to the blog, I started by going through the themes and picking one out. I wanted it to be clear, easy to read, and modern, so I ended up going with the Contempo model. When trying to keep in mind for readability, I wondered if the dark option would be better than the light one since many consider it easier on the eyes compared to a light setting. After doing a bit of searching around, I found that a dark setting can cause more issues in reading pages, particularly for those with myopia or astigmatism. The one I ended up choosing ended up not being too different from the default, so if anyone would like feel free to change around the themes further. Other than the theme, I added this image I obtained through a free trial on iStock. Having something as tactile as a refreshable braille display gave a better visual representation in my head, so I opted for that as the image of choice. I'll end the trial before the month ends so if anyone else wants im...
